2017 Kent State Football Recruiting: 3-star S Geno Stone commits to the Golden Flashes

Kent State’s defense continues to get stronger as time goes on. Most recently, they added a commitment from safety Geno Stone. Stone reports 22 offers, both on the FBS and FCS level.

His reported FBS offers include: Army, Buffalo, Ball State, Miami, and Navy. A good portion of his FCS offers come from Ivy League schools such as Columbia, Harvard, Cornell, and Yale.

The 5-foot-11 190 pound recruit played both quarterback and safety for New Castle high school in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He led New Castle to a championship appearance in the WPIAL 4A Championship game.
