Ball State has been loading up on defensive backs thus far in the 2017 recruiting class. By our count, this is the sixth defensive back to join this class.
Their most recent commitment came from 2-star defensive back Bryce Cosby.
Cosby chose the Cardinals over reported offers from Eastern Kentucky, Army, and Georgia State.
"The pedigree of the coaching staff was a big factor in my decision. My ultimate goal is to go to the NFL one day and win as many games at Ball State during my career as possible. With that being said, to know that my DB coach won a national championship at LSU under Les Miles made it an easy decision.
