Last season, Bowling Green’s Demajeo Wiggins’ stats were solid, but not spectacular. The 6’10, 240 pound junior from Toledo averaged 10 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. He shot37.9% from the free throw line as a freshman. Early last season, he was over 70%, before falling off a bit to 61% by season’s end. That was the story of his overall game last season. He would take two steps forward, and then a step back. Two steps forward, one step back.
Watching him transition from the exceptionally gifted but raw freshman into the player he is today has been impressive.
