CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2016 Women's Swimming and Diving Academic All-MAC team on Tuesday.
Of the 108 student-athletes named to the team five recorded perfect 4.0 grade point averages; Hannah Cressman (Ball State, Accounting), Jessica Extine (Ball State, Nursing), Sydney Harris (Ball State, Psychological Science), Courtney Mudd (Ball State, Exercise Science) and Alexis Valedon (Buffalo, Early Childhood Development)
Ball State leads the conference with 17 student-athletes receiving academic honors. Akron, Bowling Green, and Miami each placed 15 on the team.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics.
