After 21 years, the Western Michigan Broncos have finally produced another draft product on the offensive line.
Willie Beavers, the standout tackle that helped the rise of the Broncos into MAC contenders, was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings with their 121st overall pick in the fourth round. Once a top-5 offensive tackle prospect by NFL.com's Mike Mayock, Beavers slipped a bit due to concerns about his overall strength and his positioning. However, he still dominated in the MAC, lining up against some great NFL youths in Khalil Mack, Joey Bosa, and Shilique Calhoun in his time in Kalamazoo.
