Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced Thursday its postseason award-winners for the 2016 field hockey season. All seven field hockey coaches in the league voted for members of the All-MAC First Team, Second Team, as well as a Freshman, Player and Coach of the Year.
Carla Romagosa highlights the All-MAC First Team, as she has also been selected as the MAC Player of the Year. Romagosa started in all 18 games for the RedHawks and led the conference in assists (11) and assists per game (0.61).
Mariona Heras, Paula Portugal and Alysa Xavier all join Romagosa on the All-MAC First Team.
