Kato Nelson committed to Terry Bowden back in May, however his recruitment may be far from over. Last night, Nelson announced on his Twitter account that he has received an offer from Illinois.

Shortly after Nelson announced this offer, Hustle Belt caught up with him to discuss his recruitment.
"I am still strongly committed to Akron, but I will definitely look into Illinois."
It's important to note that Nelson was offered by Illinois as an athlete, and not a quarterback. The Zips are recruiting Nelson to be their quarterback of the future, and seems to be an ideal fit within their offense.
