Any good coach knows what they need to do to win games against teams of a certain caliber. When Toledo rolled into Kent Saturday night, Rob Sendoff knew what they were up against. Toledo has one of the best offenses in the MAC, and they are led by Jonathan “Jon Jon” Williams who averages 21 points a game. The Golden Flashes held Williams to just 3-12 from the field, and 0-9 from three point range. Overall, they held the Rockets to 37% from the field which accounted for just 41 of their 61 points.
From the very beginning, Kent State had control of the game.
