In one of the best games of the #MACsketball season to date, the Ohio Bobcats overcame a 14-point deficit in the second half to steal an important road win in the league as they downed the Buffalo Bulls 74-72. Kenny Kaminsky scored the go-ahead jumper for the ‘Cats (11-3, 3-0 MAC) as Ohio was an Antonio Campbell point away from having all five starters score in double-digits. Meanwhile, the Buffalo (7-9, 1-2) Big Three of Willie Conner, Blake Hamilton, and C.J. Massinburg had a huge night as they combined for 45 points and 27 rebounds.
The Bulls imposed their will early on in the game as a Massinburg trey pushed UB’s lead to 18-9 with 12:11 remaining in the first half and they kept the foot on the gas as the lead was stretched to 15 points following an Ikenna Smart layup with under eight minutes to go.
