The Central Michigan Chippewas are a team built around the three-point shot. Most teams that try to beat them at their own game, usually don’t fare well. That’s exactly what happened to the Bowling Green Falcons on Tuesday night as they fell to the Chippewas, 82-76 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
The Falcons game into the game shooting 35 percent from three-point, and jacked up 31 of them in the game and made just seven (22%). Central Michigan attempted 37 three-pointers on the night, but again that’s part of their offensive game plan.
The Chippewas’ Marcus Keene followed up his record setting 50-point performance from Saturday, with 28 points.
