Top 2016 Recruit To Visit Michigan For Fourth Time

In promising Michigan Wolverines Football News, defensive tackle Rashan Gary will visit the Wolverines for a fourth time this year. Gary is a five-star recruit and the top prospect in the class of 2016.

It will be the fourth visit for Gary, who made his official visit during the Wolverines' game against BYU and also checked out the campus twice in the offseason.

"It would definitely be in January right before Signing Day," Gary's mother Jennifer Coney said. "We are leaning that way. I want him to go there one more time before he decides. His sister, my husband, all of us will be there."

Michigan hasn't snagged the top 247Sports' recruit this century, which is as far back as those rankings date. Gary hails from New Jersey and checks in at 6-foot-5, 293-pounds. With offers from the vast majority of teams, he can essentially pick any school he wants.

The Wolverines have 21 committed players, but Gary would be their first five-star addition. The Wolverines are in the Top 10 of 247's rankings and adding Gary would only push them higher.
