ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- With a 10-8 Big Ten regular-season record, the University of Michigan men's basketball team earned the No. 8 seed today (Sunday, March 6) for the 2016 Big Ten Tournament (Wed-Sun., March 9-13) being held at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
With a first-round bye, U-M will play No. 9 seed Northwestern in the opening game on Thursday (March 10) at noon. If the Wolverines are victorious, they will move on to Friday's (March 11) quarterfinal against B1G regular-season champion and No. 1 seed Indiana at noon.
