Wolverines pull away at Indiana

Bloomington has proven to be a tough venue for the Wolverines in recent years, and it initially looked like the Hoosiers would once again pose a serious threat, twice moving ahead by seven points in the first half. After those initial struggles though, the Maize and Blue rattled off 32 unanswered points, cruising to an easy 39-14 victory.

Giving up scoring drives of 75 and 52 yards on Indiana’s first three possessions, the Wolverines seemed to be in for a tough day defensively, but found their footing after Indiana’s initial surge. The Hoosiers racked up 153 yards the first three times they had the ball, but managed only 63 yards over their next seven possessions.
