Standing in at 5-11, 190 pounds, Samuels is still emerging on the recruiting radar, garnering four-star status from Scout, while being listed as a three-star on 247 Sports, and not yet holding ranking on Rivals or ESPN.
Samuels visited Ann Arbor for the Wolverines’ Spring Game on Friday, and ended up selecting Michigan over scholarship offers from TCU, Arizona, Cal, New Mexico State and others.
He is Michigan’s 11th commitment for the 2017 recruiting class, and eight prospect to announce for the Maize and Blue in the last 13 days, including two for the 2018 class.
