Wolverine Wednesday: Thank you Erik

It seems highly likely now that Erik Bakich, Michigan's head baseball coach will accept the opening at Clemson today. Erik has been Michigan's head man since 2013 and his best year was 2019 after leading Michigan to 50 wins and a runner-up finish at the World Series. He was also named the National Coach of the Year during that magical season.

Erik started his coaching career at Clemson as an unpaid assistant and now finds himself back leading the program. We know Baseball is a bit different than other sports and that "southern" schools have a distinct advantage playing in warm weather most of the year.
