Will a blue-chip QB be Michigan football's next commitment?

Michigan football missed out on a few 2026 targets over the weekend, but had some good news come its way on Monday, with a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Tristan Dare.

Dare is 6-foot-4, 290 pounds, and has played right tackle in high school. He feels like a guard, but could have a chance to play offensive tackle.

Either way, the Wolverines are off to a solid start in the 2027 class, with a pair of offensive line pledges. Neither is ranked as a four-star prospect, yet, but the first four-star commitment for Michigan football in the 2027 recruiting class could come any day.
