Why Michigan State football won't host Michigan this season

Many things changed with the Big Ten’s release of its upcoming football schedule Wednesday, including Michigan State’s rivalry game with Michigan.

It means the Spartans are expected to play in Ann Arbor in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 1967-68, in a game moved up a week to Oct. 3.

But it also means MSU may not have to face both the Wolverines and Ohio State on the road in the same year moving forward.
