Phil Martelli hears it often nowadays — the organizational talk about "culture and values and family and all this other stuff."
And Michigan basketball's assistant coach wants you to know what he thinks of all that.
"Being perfectly frank, I think sometimes it’s bullshit," Martelli said. "They’re the catch phrases, so I’m supposed to say it."
The veteran coach also wants you to know he believes his boss is different — that Juwan Howard means it when he says those things.
"To Juwan’s credit, he does live by those cultural beliefs," Martelli said.
