Why did QB Wilton Speight wear a glove? It's unclear, but 'he liked it'

ANN ARBOR -- You may have missed it, but Wilton Speight sported a slightly different look to his game-day attire last Saturday.

The redshirt junior quarterback wore a glove on his left hand in Michigan's 29-13 win over Air Force, the first time this season he's done so.

The reason behind it? Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh isn't saying, but you can rule out injury.

"Just something we had tried in practice, and he liked it," Harbaugh said Tuesday on the Big Ten coaches teleconference.

Coincidentally, the change came a week after Speight fumbled the football twice in a win over Cincinnati.
