In the end, four-star Clarkston offensive lineman Rocco Spindler couldn’t say no to "O-Line U.," aka Notre Dame.
“That’s a huge factor,” Spindler said Saturday after declaring he will play his college football at Notre Dame. “I want to be developed on the field, but off the field as well and I believe Notre Dame does it best. I believe they’re the original 'O-Line U.' I don’t believe anybody does it any better.”
Sitting in front of him at his announcements were five hats, representing his five finalists: Michigan, Notre Dame, LSU, Ohio State and Penn State.
