The Chris Evans hype train took off fast after the season opener.
Michigan's freshman tailback from Indianapolis exploded with 112 rushing yards on just eight carries in the 63-3 win over Hawaii.
His teammates and coaches have seen that explosion since he arrived for fall camp and are already noticing unique traits.
"What do I like most about Chris Evans?" U-M running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley explained Wednesday. "He's like my Steph Curry in the room. Meaning that he can create his own space, can win one-on-ones and, most surprisingly ... I didn't realize how tough he was between the tackles.
