After splitting a series with a mediocre Michigan State squad, the Michigan Wolverines needed to show that they were capable of getting past the less talented teams on their roster. The Ohio State Buckeyes presented a similar opportunity this time around, and the Wolverines didn’t disappoint.
Michigan took the series with victories of the tune of 4-2 and 5-0. Overall, the team looked faster, crisper, and minimized mistakes much better than they had in the previous series. The Wolverines improve to 8-6 on the season, back to .500 in what’s proving to be a gauntlet of a conference in the Big Ten.
