The Michigan basketball season is just a few days away from getting started, and on Friday evening, the Wolverines had the chance to work out some kinks, playing host to Northwood in an exhibition matchup that saw the Maize and Blue claim a 90-58 victory.
Michigan pulled away in the first half, with true freshmen Ignas Brazdeikis getting the start and making a quick impact on his way to a 12-point outing. Following the game, head coach John Beilein noted that Brazdeikis got the start in part because Isaiah Livers had missed extensive practice time due to an injury.
