U-M 72, Indiana 69: Kameron Chatman beats buzzer

INDIANAPOLIS – Now the Wolverines may be dancing.

At the very least, they’re moving on in the Big Ten tournament, thanks to a heroic moment from an unlikely source.

Little-used Kameron Chatman hit a three from the right corner with 0.2 seconds remaining to give No. 8 seed Michigan the Big Ten tournament upset over No. 1 seed Indiana, 72-69, in front of a raucous crowd at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Wolverines (22-11) move on to the Big Ten semifinals to play the winner of Purdue-Illinois at 1 p.m. Saturday and have another signature win to show the NCAA selection committee.
