Tuioti Named Michigan's Director of Player Personnel

BRADENTON, Fla. -- University of Michigan J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Football Coach Jim Harbaugh announced Thursday (March 3) the hiring of Tony Tuioti as the program's director of player personnel. Tuioti arrives in Ann Arbor after spending the past two seasons as the defensive quality control coach for the Cleveland Browns (2014-15).

Tuioti (pronounced TOO-ee-oh-TEE) worked with the defensive line during his stint in Cleveland. The Browns' 2014 defense ranked fourth in the NFL in takeaways and ninth in points allowed. That same defense led the league in completion percentage, opposing quarterback passer rating and passes defended.
