Four years ago, Collins Acheampong never had played American football.
He was just moving from West Ghana to the states in an effort to play college basketball. Prior to junior high, he had barely played any sports, as his family stressed academics over athletics. Once he started playing basketball, his natural size and athleticism allowed him to quickly prove himself as a high-potential player.
