When Michigan men’s basketball coach Dusty May began the roster rebuilding process this offseason, he had a long list of qualities he wanted in his guards. One of the most important facets he wanted in an incoming transfer was the ability to set the tone.
And that’s something Tre Donaldson is certainly capable of doing.
The 6-foot-3 Auburn transfer and Florida native comes to Michigan with a unique and valuable skillset. In many ways that skillset is based in his abilities on the court, like his speed and shotmaking ability. But it’s also in part due to the confidence, energy, and approach he takes.
