Tracking the top Michigan high school wide receivers in the state

Oak Park quarterback Dwan Mathis and wide receiver Maliq Carr might not be the tallest passing combination in Michigan, but they certainly rank as one of the best.

Mathis, an Ohio State commit, stands 6 feet 5 and is one of the best in the state. At 6-6, Carr is a dual-sport athlete, with one day having to make the decision between football and basketball.

For now, his goal is to become one of the best receivers in the state — and for that matter, the Midwest. With a veteran quarterback and honing his skills over the summer, Carr is one of many talented receivers roaming the state.
