AJ Dillon, a three-star running back from Lawrence Academy in Groton, Mass., on Monday made a verbal commitment to Michigan’s football program.
He is the seventh commitment in Michigan’s 2017 class.
Dillon (6-0, 223) announced his commitment on Twitter and moments later during an interview on WTKA 1050 Ann Arbor. His announcement followed a visit to Ann Arbor over the weekend.
Dillon is ranked the No. 1 running back in Massachusetts in the 2017 class and the No. 41 running back nationally by Scout.com.
Dillon rushed for 1,722 yards and 23 TD for Lawrence this past season, averaging 10.
