As Michigan has struggled the last 10 years, Wolverine fans have wondered out loud, "why can't we be more like Wisconsin?" That comment really wasn't a goal, it was more of wondering how the team out of Madison could play winning physical football with mostly 3 star and lower recruits. Michigan gets better recruits but seems to struggle at the exact things Wisconsin wants to do.
This year the schedule didn't do the Badgers any favors. They opened the season with a low scoring loss to Penn State and now has ND and Michigan in back to back weeks.
