The Michigan Wolverines are currently sitting at the top of the Big Ten after winning their first conference championship game over the Iowa Hawkeyes. That opportunity arose because they conquered the Ohio State Buckeyes, who were standing in their way of the promised land the last two decades.
Coming into 2022, at the top of the list projected to compete once again is Ohio State, which is tied for the most appearances in the Big Ten Championship game. And they boast a 5-1 record in those games. But even they are not the perfect team heading into the season.
