PISCATAWAY, N.J. – As Erik Magnuson walked off the High Point Solutions Stadium field on Saturday night, literally strolling into the bye week, he was ready.
“Very beneficial,” he said. “Especially for the guys who start and play a lot. We’ve played six games, but we (also) had four weeks of camp. So almost 10 weeks of straight football. So your body’s hurting and it’d be good to get some rehab.”
He and his teammates will catch a few days off this week after Saturday’s 78-0 undressing of Rutgers, but as they get that treatment, it will feel far different than any other moment in their career.
