Simpson triple-double lifts Michigan over OSU

Despite frigid temperatures outside, the Michigan basketball team was treated to a raucous environment in Crisler Center Tuesday evening as the Wolverines played host to Ohio State. The Buckeyes found success out of the gate on offense despite the crowd, but the game quickly turned into a defensive battle with the Maize and Blue defeating their rival 65-49.

Playing from behind for most of the first half, the Wolverines went on a 10-2 run heading into the break, claiming six point lead, which they slowly extended as the game progressed. Ohio State turned the ball over 19 times, with the U-M defense stealing 11 of those away.
