Boos rained down on the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday.
For good reason.
This wasn’t "Speed in Space." It was fumbles and frustration, mistakes and misfires, slips and stumbles, and just plain crazy playcalling.
And even though they escaped with a victory over Army, 24-21 in overtime, they have to be better.
The Wolverines were sloppy and careless. They had penalties and turnovers and took questionable gambles — twice failing on fourth-down plays in the fourth quarter.
This is on coach Jim Harbaugh, who made several questionable calls that failed and did not have his team prepared.
