Shea Patterson told Don Brown during MSU game: Get me the ball back

Shea Patterson has injected confidence into Michigan football's offense this season.

But Patterson's presence at quarterback, both on and off the field, continues to impress all corners of the team.

Take two weeks ago at Michigan State as an example. Defensive coordinator Don Brown was in the midst of putting together a dominant performance, despite some missed opportunities from the offense.

And despite two fumbles in the third quarter, Brown's confidence in Michigan's chances for a win never wavered. Why?

Because Patterson told him not to worry.

"He came up and got in my face (after a fumble) and said 'you get me the ball back and I'll fix it.
