Shea Patterson on Chase Winovich's status vs. OSU: 'I think he'll play'

ANN ARBOR -- Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh gave a positive report on Chase Winovich's status on Monday, saying both X-rays and CAT scans were negative after the senior defensive end left Saturday's game against Indiana because of an injury.

Winovich's teammate and roommate, quarterback Shea Patterson, delivered some more promising news Tuesday after practice about Winovich's availability for Saturday's game at No. 10 Ohio State.

"(You'd) have to kill him to take him out," Patterson said. We're not really sure his progress yet. He's a tough guy."

"I've talked to him, he says he's feeling better.
