Shea Patterson continues to gain traction in preseason Heisman Trophy talk.
The new Michigan quarterback is listed as a 20-to-1 favorite to win college football's annual award for most outstanding player in 2018 at the Westgate Las Vegas.
Patterson's odds are fifth-best overall and place him in the top 15 among all college football players, according to the list published over the weekend.
That means for every $1 wagered, a bettor would net $20 should Patterson win the Heisman Trophy, to be awarded Dec. 8.
For comparison, Patterson has the same odds to win the Heisman as Ohio State running back J.
