Ryan LaMarre called on to pitch in Yankees' rout of Twins

Less than 24 hours after Ryan LaMarre learned he made the Minnesota Twins roster, he vowed he wouldn't become complacent but would do whatever he could to help the team win ball games.

Through the first three weeks of the season, LaMarre has done just that by hitting .471 (8-for-17), recording a .526 OBP, appearing in multiple outfield positions, pinch running in key situations and even hitting a walk-off single to propel Minnesota to a 16-inning victory in Puerto Rico.

Add pitching to that list, albeit in a lopsided loss.

LaMarre, a former Lumen Christi and University of Michigan baseball player who is an outfielder by trade, made his 2018 debut on the mound Monday night.
