When Paramus (N.J.) Catholic announced a satellite camp hosting Michigan on June 8, they wanted to be inclusive.
Paramus president James Vail asked Jim Harbaugh to invite Rutgers to participate and Harbaugh agreed. Rutgers coach Chris Ash declined the invitation and a New Jersey columnist said it was Michigan declaring war on Rutgers.
Now Ash has planned his own camp -- with U-M archrival/Ohio State coach Urban Meyer attending -- for the same time, the evening of June 8, as the Wolverines will be at Paramus.
Weird, eh?
