Ronnie Bell injury updated after Michigan’s win over WMU

The Michigan Wolverines moved to 1-0 on the 2021 season with a 47-14 win over Western Michigan on Saturday afternoon, but it extracted a toll. Senior captain and wide receiver Ronnie Bell suffered a leg injury in the first half and ultimately had to be carted off of the Michigan sideline.

He appeared to clutch his right knee after a punt return in the second quarter.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh was asked about Bell after the game and did not have much to offer outside of prayers for his outcome. He revealed that Bell will undergo an MRI on Saturday night to determine his status moving forward.
