But while the Big Ten continues to proceed with its plan for college football in 2020, the season remains only a possibility — and not a certainty.
“There is no guarantee that we will have fall sports or a football season," said Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren during an appearance with Big Ten Network on Wednesday morning. "We’re doing everything we possibly can that if we’re so blessed to be able to have fall sports, that things are organized and done in a very methodical and professional manner.
