Chris Evans returned this offseason to a Michigan football running back room that looked very different from the one he left.
Before his suspension for the 2019 season, Evans — a junior at the time — was expected to lead his position as the most experienced running back on the roster.
Evans is back on the team now after being reinstated for the winter semester, but in his absence, others established themselves in the backfield.
