Report: Michigan WR Tarik Black no longer in walking boot

The Michigan Wolverines may be getting back one of their biggest offensive weapons very soon.

According to Isaiah Hole of Wolverines Wire, wide receiver Tarik Black entered the game against Maryland with the team without a walking boot on.

Black has not played this season after breaking a bone in his foot just days before the Notre Dame game. Since then, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Nico Collins and Zach Gentry have led the team in the receiving game.

Black’s timetable after surgery was 6-8 weeks, so it’s getting close to the beginning of that timeframe.
