Recap, takeaways from Michigan’s loss to Penn State: Officially lost without Livers

The Michigan Wolverines had one of their roughest showings of the season on Wednesday night, losing to Penn State by a score of 72-63 to move to 11-7 overall and 2-5 in Big Ten conference play. Junior forward Isaiah Livers did not dress and missed his sixth-straight game with a groin injury.

Zavier Simpson had 18 points on the night on 8-for-22 shooting with six assists and six turnovers. Lamar Stevens led the Nittany Lions with 19 points in the win.

Michigan’s offense was relatively lifeless throughout the night outside of a few stretches in this game in each half.
