The mother of Michigan football junior defensive end Rashan Gary explained via social media this week that her son's shoulder injury requires rest, and that he won't be back on the field until the injury is fully healed.
In an effort to end speculation about Gary's future plans, Jennifer Coney-Shepherd shared comment with The Winged Helmet Facebook page regarding her son's situation.
The message read as follows:
"He got hurt a week (before) the Notre Dame game. However, he decided that he could play through it (and) rehab during the week. However, at UM (it's) all or nothing and daily practice is just like a game .
