Michigan received its 23rd commitment of the 2016 cycle today in the form of wide receiver Ahmir Mitchell (Egg Harbor City, New Jersey).
Mitchell is a four-star prospect and the sixth-ranked athlete in the class of 2016, per the 247 Composite. He is Michigan's second wide receiver commit in the class, along with fellow Jersey native Brad Hawkins.
At 6-3, 205 pounds, Mitchell is not exactly a burner, but he displays top end speed and is shifty in the open field. He also is a physical runner that is not as easy to bring down as other players at his position.
