The Michigan Wolverines are still in the process of finalizing an extension for head coach Jim Harbaugh, but there are staff moves already taking place now that we have transitioned into the new year. According to a report from the Detroit Free Press, quarterbacks coach Ben McDaniels will not be a part of the staff moving forward after his contract expires at the end of this weekend.
McDaniels — the brother of New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels — joined Michigan in 2018 as an analyst before spending the last two seasons as the man in charge of the quarterback room.
