There is no other way to describe last night's game other than ugly. Michigan is more talented, playing at home, ranked #22, 3 TD favorite, and beat the 2-6 Boilermakers (whose last Big Ten win was in 2023) by 5 points.
Michigan has roughly 100 players including scholarship and walk-on's. I would estimate that 25% of the roster is injured at this point in the season. The news just kept getting worse, Barham goes out after the first series and McCulley goes down during game.
A win is a win and Michigan didn't want to have to live with a terrible loss for two weeks as they prepare for a two game road trip and the #1 team in the nation (that seems to be very healthy).
