With the first bye week of the season already upon us, it seemed like a good time to break down the 2020 recruiting class and see how it is likely to shape up come the early signing period in December.
Overall, this has probably been the quickest class to fill up under Jim Harbaugh, with 23 members already, not including Gaige Garcia. There hasn’t been a commitment since the end of July, when a pair of four-star safeties in RJ Moten and Makari Paige joined the fold.
That makes my job to predict who the last handful of recruits will be pretty easy, but there is also the inevitability of decommits, of which there are at least two or three every year.
