Playing the game without top player Caris LeVert, the Wolverines didn’t exactly get off to a great start on Saturday afternoon against Penn State, surrendering the first seven points of the game. Then the three pointers started to fall. Michigan hit 10 from long range in the first half to open big lead, cruising down the stretch to a 79-56 victory.
Zak Irvin and Mark Donnal each at 16 points, with both players coming close to double-doubles. Donnal fell two rebounds short of that mark, while Irvin finished with seven assists. Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman finished with 14 points, while Aubrey Dawkins added 13.
